After getting some good news for the first time in a good, long while, I ended up feeling VERY motivated to resume work on the comic (working and/or final title still not decided.)

I opened Violet and CJ’s model sheets from three months ago to put the finishing touches on them and quickly came to the realization that the quality of my art has already improved a lot since September:

It’s a subtle difference, yet also huge…?

I felt like I had to give this treatment to the other heads I’ve drawn so far before I began work on any new ones:

It’s worth mention that these were also much faster to complete than other cleanup I’ve done on my own art. I’ll have to get even faster if I hope to actually finish the comic, but as of now I’m reaching a point where I can decide to draw something and not have to dedicate the entire day to it…

Quickies

Got some requests over on Tumblr to draw my characters wearing things. There’s something really funny about the fact that (at least for now) one of the only full length images of Jean-Claude in existence is them wearing an entire Hot Topic while visibly uncomfortable with that fact.

(Here’s the list of prompts that I used at the time, but keep in mind that if it’s not October 2023 any more, I will have stopped taking the requests.)
